Membership & Sponsorship Opportunities

Over the past ten years the McDonough Museum of Art has redefined its role in this community to become a unique center for public engagement. You may recall participating in Dreaming Awake the Town Hall Project where for seven weeks we transformed the public space of the Museum into a Town Meeting Hall. Over sixty non-profit organizations, foundations, and collaboratives contributed. For The Paramount Project we joined placemaking and restoration efforts across the country to increase awareness of local efforts to restore and repurpose the Liberty-Paramount Theatre. Living as Form, an exhibition co-organized by Creative Time in New York City, challenged us to commission local site-specific socially engaged projects. We organized, hosted, and sponsored seven projects including the Youngstown Complaints Choir. This summer the McDonough Museum of Art together with AST2 and America Makes (NAMII) organized an exhibition around 3D printing to build public awareness, understanding and interest in advances in additive manufacturing that are changing the world we live in. Over 2000 members of this community visited the exhibition and participated in the hands-on 3D printing lab.

Original, experimental, contemporary programs like those listed above are made possible through fundraising and support from members like you. Please join us in our effort to further articulate the expansive value of creative and innovative thinking in everyday life and become a friend of the McDonough.

Thank you for your support.
